The FMPS module is an intelligent microprocessor controlled 48Vdc power supply used in the Flexnet FMPS Multipurpose Power Supply. Designed to provide primary and standby power for critical communications and networks, it includes one or two parallel outputs and alarm connections, supporting distances of up to 30 meters between the FMPS module and ONT.

The FTTx Multipurpose Power Supply (FMPS) is an outdoor or indoor system providing 150Watts of 48Vdc power to MDU and SOHO optical network terminals.

 

The FlexNet FMPS is an environmentally hardened wall mount enclosure system with dual ONT connections. Two individually monitored 48Vdc strings of standard 7Ah to 8Ah VRLA batteries provide standby power. Built-in battery heater supports extended runtimes at -40°C. LED indicators and an audible alarm provide local visual status, and PacketCable and dry contact compliant telemetry connections to the ONT or MTA.

The FlexNet ELPM-300 is a 300Watt, 48VDC battery backup power module supporting a variety of indoor and outdoor telephony, wireless and FTTx applications. Installed in pole, wall, or ground mount rainproof enclosure, the FlexNet FiberUPS will keep field distributed electronics up and running during power disturbances and outages.
